Welcome to the homepages of Satahanka IX Sea Scout / Guide Camp. The purpose of these pages is to provide information about the camp to guides and scouts as well as other net surfers round the world. Before the camp these pages are updated weekly and during the camp daily. After the camp all the pages are left in internet as a memory of the camp.

We have tries to do these pages so that they could be viewed with any browser supporting tables. Nevertheless we recommend you to use Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 3.0 or later. The newest versions of both browsers could be downloaded from the homepages of the manufacturers:

Although these pages can be browsed almost with any computer, they look better if you are using system with at least resolution 800 * 600 pixels and amount of colours 256 or higher.

Oskari Webmaster Oskari Huiskala (Sea Scout Troop Turun Sinikotkat) is doing the essential page layout design and code work - at least until July, when he is going to enter the Finnish Navy to begin his military service. Oskari is studying computer sciences at Abo Akademi University and he is the secretary for his troop and one of skippers of training ship s/y Rhea.

Sacu Sakari Kouti is the leader for this project. He is designing these pages and organizing the communications at the camp.

Isto Isto Vatanen, also from Turun Sinikotkat, is the assistant webmaster and is doing most of the update work during the camp. Isto is the editor-in-chief for Kotkansiipi, the magazine of his troop. Isto is studying computer sciences and history at University of Turku.
